What do I gain when I register on the Umevia platform as an artist?
By registering on the Umevia platform, you will gain access to a wide range of features that will help you increase your visibility and secure more orders for your art. These features include an art portfolio, marketing support in Google search, an order system, an availability calendar, an automatic billing system, and many other features that can only help you.
Is it possible to negotiate the order price with the client afterward?
Yes. After creating a non-binding order, you can communicate with the client through our system to agree on further details and the price. The client is required to fill in all the necessary information, such as the event location and time, number of people, and other details. You can discuss and adjust the price based on distance, event size, and additional requirements. If the client agrees to the new price, they confirm the order and make the payment.
How does profile verification work?
To prevent any fraud and fake accounts on the platform, the Stripe payment gateway requires you to verify your identity by uploading your ID card. This allows you to work with cities or companies where you confirm the accuracy of your information. Through Stripe, you receive payments directly from customers to your bank account automatically. Account verification is necessary to protect both parties and prevent fraud. Stripe is an international company similar to PayPal, and it processes all verification data, we only use their services.
How does the accounting work?
The Umevia platform has a built-in invoicing system for issuing accounting documents for all parties (including artists), regardless of their legal form. If you are not a business entity, a work contract will be issued between you and the customer. If you are registered as a freelancer, self-employed, or a company, an invoice will be issued. These documents can always be easily downloaded from our system and added to your accounting.
What if a customer cancels a paid event?
The Umevia platform provides a guarantee (deposit) of up to 30% of the order value. If the customer cancels a paid order, the system will automatically send a deposit to your account, protecting you from a total loss of income.
How does artist filtering work on the Umevia platform?
Filtering artists on the Umevia platform is designed to help you quickly and efficiently find artists according to your needs. You can filter by price, location, event date, or type of art. All active artists on the platform are displayed in the filter results. The filter relevance is sorted in ascending order, meaning you see the most relevant artists according to your filter first.
Can the order price be negotiated later?
Yes, after creating a non-binding order, you can discuss the price with the artist. As the customer, you will fill in the location and time of the event, the number of people, and other important information. Then a chat will open where you can discuss further details. The artist may increase the amount based on your requirements, decline, or confirm the order.
Do you help with issuing accounting documents?
The Umevia platform automatically generates all necessary documents for the event, including invoices and contracts. Just provide the required billing details when placing an order, and everything else is taken care of. After each order, you can easily download accounting documents and add them to your bookkeeping. This process saves you time and ensures data accuracy in your accounting documents.
What happens to the order if the artist cancels their participation?
If an artist cancels their participation in the event, we will refund 100% of the paid order. This way, we ensure that your investment is protected, and you can plan your event with confidence.

Is Umevia an Agency?
The Umevia platform itself is not an agency. Umevia is primarily a system to support the connection of event organizers with artists for the purpose of creating mutual collaborations. On the Umevia platform, we provide order management, processing, more frequent visibility to organizers and in Google search, creation of accounting documents (also for non-entrepreneurs), and marketing support. We are system administrators supporting artist bookings, without the purpose of creating custom events. However, our services also include regular contact with all parties, both event organizers and artists, for the purpose of creating mutual collaborations.
